Wholesale Q&A’s

Q: What is your minimum order quantity for each product?
A: This depends on the product and collection because of specific manufacturing requirements; however for most items our MOQ is 300 units.

Q: How do you calculate the wholesale price of your products?
A: We use keystone markup to determine the base cost of our products. We may also apply a discount depending on the value and frequency of your orders.

Q: Do you deliver worldwide?
A: Yes. Our courier of choice is UPS but we also have accounts with DHL, FedEx, The Royal Mail and ParcelForce. You are also welcome to organise your own shipping.

Q: What are the turnaround times for a bulk order?
A: It depends on several things; We do have stock available to ship and may be able to fulfil your order immediately. For products that have an MOQ of 300-600 units the typical turnaround is 4-6 weeks (but can be quicker depending where we are in our production cycles). If the MOQ is 600-1,200 units you can expect to wait a further 2 weeks. Orders of more than 5,000 units will take longer depending on final quantities agreed and delivery destination. Bespoke manufacture or production timescales will be calculated during the ordering process.

Q: Do you have a separate trade website?
A: Not yet, but we are working on that right now.

Q: Can you brand BottleCloths with our logo, label and colours?
A: Yes. There are several options for creating bespoke orders. We’d be happy to explain the options to you.

Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: All mainstream payment solutions including BACS, CHAPS, IBAN, Wire, Direct Debit, Debit Card, Credit Card and good old fashioned cash.

Q: Can we request samples?
A: Yes. We can send you a sample pack for each collection you are interested in. There is a small charge for this which we will deduct from your first wholesale order.

Q: Can we use your photos, videos and supporting collateral in our own sales material?
A: Yes. We can also help you re-create imagery that is more suited to your brand or catalogue.

Q: Can we use your product titles and descriptions?
A: No. This would create confusion for search engines and consumers in the marketplace.

Q: How will our order be packaged?
A: Typically we send bulk orders flat packed in double-walled cardboard boxes. These can also be palletised if it proves cheaper to do so. We can also provide an option for single units and packs of 3, 5 or 10 to be packaged in high quality, recyclable zip-lock bags.

Q: Do you offer credit terms?
A: No, but you are welcome to pay by credit card.

Q: Can I arrange a video call to discuss further?
A: Of course. We are available Monday-Friday from 10:00-22:00 GMT. We can connect via FaceTime, WhatsApp, Skype, Signal, Zoom or the platform of your choice.

Q: Can we relist BottleCloths on Amazon, eBay, Etsy or similar platforms?
A: No. It will cause confusion for buyers and play havoc with our EAN’s, ASINS and SKU codes.

Q: What is your returns policy for wholesale orders?
A: We always do our utmost to ensure your goods get to your customers in excellent condition but like any manufacturer there is always the possibility that the occasional item gets damaged in transit. Should this happens please let us know by e-mail within three days of delivery. Please include your name, address and order/invoice number. We will also require a photograph and/or video of the damage. Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations Act 2000 you have the right to change your mind and return any unwanted goods within 7 days (although we allow 14) for a full refund to the value of the goods.
