Product Recall & Safety Policy

Last updated: May 7th 2026

At BottleCloths Ltd, the safety of our customers and the quality of our products is our top priority. We design and test every BottleCloth to the highest standards. In the very unlikely event that a safety issue is identified, we have a clear, independent recall procedure in place (separate from any platform-specific processes).

WHEN WE MAY INITIATE A RECALL

We will act immediately if any of the following occurs:

  • A safety risk is discovered that was not identified during our original product assessment
  • A customer reports an injury or near-miss
  • A regulatory authority or market surveillance body notifies us
  • Our supplier or manufacturer informs us of a material defect

OUR RECALL PROCEDURE

If a recall is needed we will:

  • Immediately notify our EU Responsible Person (Sipact).
  • Report the issue to the EU Safety Gate portal within 3 business days.
  • Suspend sales of the affected product across all channels.
  • Work with our fulfilment partners to safely quarantine any stock.
  • Contact affected customers directly (via email or the platform’s messaging system) with clear next steps.
  • Arrange collection or safe disposal of the recalled products.
  • Issue a public safety notice in English, German, and French (and any other relevant languages).

We will always keep communication clear, timely, and helpful. Our goal is to resolve any issue quickly while minimising inconvenience to you.

This standalone policy forms part of our obligations under the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) and is reviewed regularly.
